Birthday Scrapbooking

For Mom's 74th birthday, which is today, I made 3 pages for her scrapbook. I'm not sure if this photograph is prom or graduation. When I find out I'll add the info using some kind of tag.

The first time I used my sewing machine on a scrapbook page. It's been all the rage for awhile now. It took some time to figure out the tension, once I did it was very easy. I'll be doing more sewing.
This photograph is from her bridal shower in 1955. I've loved this photo since I was a little girl!

This page I hand sewed the snowflakes.

This is not how I envisioned this page & I'm not sure I even like. Again, once I get a date, I'll add it. I do know she is front of her grandparents home in Detroit, MI.

Since Mom is hard to buy for, she needs nothing, I've been giving her pages to add to her album for her birthday, Christmas and Mother's Day. I gave her an album for her 70th birthday with lots of empty pages.

Great pages and I must say I love the last one, now I will admit that green is my favorite color so that may have something to do with it.
