I made Cherry Pie Cups for our hospital auxiliary pie sale. They were easy to make & I will definitely make them again.
I was in the park at the antique show for the first two hours & they didn't seem to be selling.
I thought they turned out cute, they tasted good (I know cause I kept one) and I thought $2.00 was a fair price. So disappointing.

From my walk in the woods. Never would have been able to get this with my old camera, even before it wasn't working properly.

Wheat pizza dough from Price Chopper. Delicious!
Per what I read online, I let the dough rise for an hour & a half before baking. I could NOT tell the difference. Won't do that again.

Lap counters. Five times around a half mile route. I just hope come spring I won't see a corn field growing in the neighborhood.

Fresh flowers always makes for a happier day!! At $5.00 for two weeks, makes for pretty cheap happiness. Don't you like the milk glass vase? Only $4.00 at an antique store.

"Often when you think you're at the end of something, you're at the beginning of something else." Mr. Rogers

My birthday, Thanksgiving -even thou we don't exchange gifts- and Christmas present all wrapped into one new camera. Letting the learning curve begin and hopefully better photos. : )

Mick bought a sofa table for our family room. I then had to go buy more baskets, even thou I swore that my basket buying days had come to an end. The round one will go under the table filled with dried hydrangeas and the dark colored basket will go on the top.

I don't have a kitchen window sill to set tomato's on to ripen but I can fake it with fake tomato's.

A box of Birthday Candles from an antique store. I loved the graphics. I bet I paid ten times the original sale price.
I would need a couple more boxes to have enough for Mom's 75th birthday cake!!
Happy Birthday Mom.

A long journey.

Wire basket from a Pottery Barn Outlet in Kentucky.
I carried it home on the airplane. What was I thinking?
Flowers from the garden. The Black-Eyed Susan's cut from along the side of the road.

A $4.00 crewel from an antique store, dated 1975. Another $1.00 to have it dry cleaned. A great addition to the powder room.

Kristen spent all her summer inside studying, up until Friday. It doesn't look it but she is now free to enjoy what is left. She won't hear until November the result of her exam.
We had a great morning at the Outhouse Farm.
