This is the third year that I had Mick take the weedeater to the entire flower bed. I'm not sure if it's a good gardening practice or not. So far each spring the flowers have come back.

I don't have any Sunflowers, maybe next year. I would like to plant some so I could save to feed the birds in the winter. I took the photos in my neighbors garden. She was Amie's kindergarten teacher.
The birds would love these seeds.
