Freedom Trail

I estimated that I walked between 20 to 25 miles over the 4th of July weekend. Friday and Saturday I spent five hours each day walking The Freedom Trail, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, along the Charles River, Little Italy, areas with local shops and also the chain stores. Each evening we also walked about and scouted where to eat dinner. I was so impressed on how clean and safe Boston was. Tomorrow, I’ll tell you just how safe it really is.

I'm not sure if it was because it was the 4th, there were so many flag displays around the city.

I loved this topiary in the front yard of a private home.
There are so many statues in the city. Paul Reeve was my favorite.

Like the picture from my NYC trip, I wish I had a display case like this in my hometown. I hate to admit, my lunch on Saturday came out of this case.

A picture from my favorite store. I'm keeping track of all the states I've been into an Antropologie. To date; NY, Nevada, Pennsylvania, California and now Massachusetts. It won't be long I'll be adding Georgia. I didn't buy anything in MA thou.

Boston is a great city, if anyone plans on going I can give them some travel tips

No worries about making it to an Anthropologie. There are several in the city. I would love to visit Boston. I have heard so many great things about the city. Steven and a bunch of his friends took a trip there a couple of years ago. He has so many amazing stories from that trip. He had a really woderful time.
