Tomato Pincushions

One day on my way home from work I stopped at a new Flea Market. I spotted these beauties as soon as I walked in. I immediately took them out of the case. Only $1.50 each. I love the tattered look of this one.I'll show you Martha.
I had tears in my eye's as I pulled out. I've been stressed & an emotional wreck lately. Who would of thought two tomato pin cushions would make me happy. I may have to get a larger jar for my collection.

Old Chalkboard

Remember when I went to Antiques in the Park? I bought this chalkboard for $10.00.
I love the letters & numbers.
This is my least favorite graphic.

I actually bought the chalkboard for the graphics.

Antique Boat Museum

Also on the day we did wine tours we spent an hour at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton.A boat that is being built in the workshop. My favorite photo from the museum.
Loved the chair.
I actually fell while at the museum, thankfully not into the water. I guess they would have been ready if I had. The wood walkway was wet from the rain & mold was growing. No, it was not from the wine tasting.
Scrapbooks or diaries. Wish I knew what was inside.
Another workshop photo. Mick really enjoyed the workshop.
This was one of my favorite boats, covered in birch bark.
Workshop.
I wouldn't get in this boat on the water if they paid me.Our second time at the museum. Many improvements since our last visit maybe 10 years ago.

An Old Crock

This is the crock I have on my kitchen counter that holds some of my utensils. Bonnie put in a request for me to find a similar one for her kitchen.
Ask & your wish is granted. I guess this is on it's way to her place in Arizona. A great deal at $13.

Maybe I need to plan a trip to see the crock in it's new home.

Scrapbook Cheating

The album was predesigned so it's kinda like cheating.
"We were not the only ones viewing the floats." I kept my admission bracelet.
"My favorite float."
My second favorite was Vera Bradley. I love using the pom poms for scrapping.
I will cherish forever our day viewing the floats.
Today I'll be delivering this album. : )

Thousand Islands Winery

This is Mick's list, we could choose six wines at TI. Otter Creek let us taste everyone they offered. Both cost zero dollars! Mick really doesn't care that much for wine. He choose the first six, easier that way.
At TI we actually got a tour of the wine making facilities, a first for us. Below are labels for the bottles.
The bottling machine.
Very appropriate weather vane.
Had to get a photo of this wine barrel.
Insulated wine vats.
This is for display only.
I saw this poster hanging in an office.
One of the vineyards.

Looks like the grapes are ready but our tour guide said October.
We had a great time at the two wineries we visited!
