You say tomato....

I say, I have a favor to ask.
In the March 2009 issue of Country Living there was an article on pincushions. They showed the below jar filled with red tomato pin cushions.
A jar filled with red tomato pincushions would look great on display in my kitchen. I currently posses 2, only 2. So, if you are at a garage sale, Salvation Army store, the Jewish Women's Thrift store in LA, etc, etc & see any for sale, please think of me. I will gladly pay you back.

Mom used to have one of those, but even if you found it, you'd see that it was well-used!

Do you realized how long it is going to take you to fill a jar of that size with pin cushions?

Thanks Lilpoppy. LA Girl, I won't get a jar that big, unless all my blog readers find a lot of pin cushions! The Container Store sells just the kind of jars I'm looking for. Ke, wish Mom's pin cushion was still around. : (
The pin cushion in the photo without the berry is old, I bought at an antique sale several years ago. The other one is new.

My friend has introduced me to Salvation Army-Thrift Shop shopping. I am hooked! I will be on the watch for pin cushions. Did you see the last issue of Country Living - the Teapot Lamp project? That is what we are working on now!
