Butter Sculpture

The butter sculpture is the most unique exhibit of the NYS Fair.

This year was the 40th annual butter sculpture, "Hey Diddle Diddle" the sculptor used 400 pounds of butter.

Here's the dish and the spoon.

There was even a laughing dog. The case was very foggy. I am surprised the pictures came out as good as they did. I was not very impressed with this sculpture. I have seen many others with much more detail. Maybe butter sculpting is a dying art. Also, in past years the butter is donated to a charity for consumption. That's a good thing.
