Boston Fireworks

We spent the long weekend in Boston.
We watched the fireworks from the 38th floor of this building. We were told it was the best vantage point in the city. There was a radio on the balcony so we could hear the Boston Pops playing .

The fireworks went off a barge in the Charles River. There were over 15,000 shells and the display took 2,800 man hours to produce.

As much as we enjoy watching fireworks, the highlight of our evening was the flyover of two F-15’s at the end of the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner. They flew right down the Charles River, off to our right, at just about the same height as the balcony. Look at the beautiful color of the sunset. There was also a Blimp in the air.
This will be one July 4th I will always remember.

The F-15's look like something off of the Discovery Channel!
