Food Issues

This is what my life has turned into, more prescriptions in the last week than in the last 25 years.

I am starting to feel like the worst is behind me. I am adjusting to my diet, the meal planning, grocery shopping and meal preparation. It takes a good deal of time but I am now becoming acclimated.

A typical meal after I arrived home from the hospital.

I now have grilled chicken, grilled fish or roast pork; I was just to hungry without meat.

Had my surgeon appointment, he will now work on setting a date for the gall bladder removal. I’ll let everyone know that BIG date once I know. I am trying to work on getting a picture of my gall bladder, after removal. I have a sister-in-law (my husbands sister who lives the closest to us) who is very interested. Are any other of my readers???? My Mom insists on coming and staying a few days to take care of me. I really don’t think it is necessary but I understand her concern and it will be so nice to have to visit.

Today, when I went to pick up another prescription, what else, I purchased the below. One bag for each of the four days after my surgery. If I have any teeth left from all the cavities I’ll have from the jelly beans, hard candy, marshmallows, gum drops and Tootsie Rolls I’ve been eating to satisfy my sweet tooth, actually sweet teeth.

Recieved another call from Paris. Tomorrow it's on to London via train. Saw the Mona Lisa and the Eiffel Tower at night. She now thinks everyone needs to see the tower. It's a spectacular site at night.

Wow, you take more pills than me!Still don't know how you can stand having that candy in the house. And that food looks pretty good. You can come cook for me, anytime!

Did LA Girl take the ET picture? Geez, I feel like Mickey, who's always JK'ing or JW'ing or JS'ing. Can't we come up with a new name?

No, all ET pictures are off the web. She tells me she has some GREAT pictures. Plans are for a day for each city, maybe 2 days for Paris, on her Blog. I promised her a trip album.

Make that two interested sister-in-laws (probably the one who lives the farthest away). That would definitely make a great post...

Last night I couldn't stand having that candy in the house. I came really close to going to the hiding place & licking one of the eggs.

I definitely want to see the gall bladder! Of course, I'm the guy who once took a picture of his miscarried daughter next to a soup spoon and sent it around the country in the "family letter." Boy, did I get ripped for that one! I thought everyone would be curious what a twenty-week-old fetus looked like. Scientific interest, you know. But a gall bladder photo, yes. That would be good.

And I agree; the food looks great - especially the rice.

Hey, Angry Bird,
I never saw that picture. Did we have letter editors/censors out there?

GEL-Oh, go ahead and lick the egg; how much fat could there be in one lick?

I must say I completely agree with LA Girl, the tower is pretty boring during the day and completely mesmerizing at night, I'm so jealous she's jetting all over the place!
