For many many years I've wanted to go to Ottawa to see the tulips. This year was finally the year. We went a week prior to the official start because of the warm weather I assumed some of the tulips would be ahead of schedule. 
Yeah, I made it!
Amie was with me.
This first tulip we saw had not yet bloomed & we started to get worried we wouldn't see any blooming tulips.
It was a great day and I would definitely go again.
