First Home

Leigh Anna and Steven are now proud homeowners.
Their beautiful home is located just north of Atlanta.
If anyone is driving to visit let me know. I'll give you all my half quarts of paint so they can change the color of their front door on a regular basis. Although, rumor is the color is being painted University of Georgia Red. Next should be East Carolina Purple. Purple is one color I haven't used yet. It may be my next choice. I wonder if Steven likes to paint???

ATL

I was looking up into the sky about 65 miles north of Atlanta, Ga and noticed all the contrails. I've never seen so many contrails so close together. I later learned Atlanta has the busiest airport in the world.
Why was I looking up into the sky? Taking photos of all the beautiful trees in bloom.
Also enjoying the blue sky.
This was not taken with the three photos above but in Atlanta.
The sun coming up.
I love spring. Hopefully the north country will be experiencing
 spring blooms soon.

Cabana Night

Bob, pictured below, and Charlie recently returned from a vacation in Puerto Rico. Saturday night with temperatures of 20 degrees they held a Cabana Night at their home.
Bob made several different rum drinks and severed pina colada's after dinner. The dinner consisted of chicken, red beans and rice. Oh, there also was Mexican coffee. Although, I stayed with my usual hot tea. Everything was delicious. The highlight of my evening was the slide show of photos they took during their trip! I love photos.

End of an Era

We've been meeting for breakfast at McCarthy's Restaurant the first Thursday of every month for just over seven years . The restaurant had been for sale a couple years and yesterday it served its last meal. It finally sold and is going to become, of all things, a funeral home.
We've had Scott as our wonderful waiter for many years. Hope he is able to find a new place work. We were all afriad to ask him what his plans are.
We have two diners, a bagel shop and sandwich shop to try out for our McCarthy's replacement.  We each had our favorite meal and ordered the same breakfast every time. Well, maybe eleven months out of a year. Let the taste testing begin!

Hats, hats for sale

We missed Amie during our "Hats, hats for sale." First sale I bought the pink feathered hat for Amie and I thought about buying the purple hat that Debbie modeled this time.
The purple hat would make a great tea cozy!! No hats were purchased during this day of antiquing thou.
We did have lots of hats to choose from. Hats are showing up at all the antique stores. I'm not sure if they are actually worn or simply used as display.
