Well maybe not a treasure, but it was trash of our old deck step.
Within one hour, Mick turned the step into a bench that I designed. 
The finished product, even the paint was leftover from our deck furniture.
The bench is not for sitting but for displaying our flower pots. Although, it is very sturdy & you could sit on it. If you happen to talk to Mick just don't mention to him that he was part of a "green project." : )

What a great idea, I would of been told no and just put the old step on the curb, Butch just not agree to things like Mick does :(
